Pauline Montgomery

Pauline works from her studio in Glasgow, where she also attended university at the Glasgow School of Arts, graduating in Ceramic Design in 1996. 

Capturing the essence of the landscape and its architecture that is so familiar to those who know and love the Highlands of Scotland.   Pauline hand builds these delightful depictions of the well-known shape of the bothy and croft houses that are scattered across this country we call home.

She makes each piece by hand from earthenware clay and then decorates them with glazes that echo the colours we see every day.   

We are delighted to be representing Pauline in our small corner of Skye and hope that her work resonates with you and gives you that sense of home and place.
