Lynn lives on the rugged north coast of Cornwall and established her workshop in 1986 from where she creates magical figures from the driftwood she collects from the beaches after the ferocious storms that often hit that coastline.

Her original training was in illustration but her love of wood and the characters that she can pull from a piece of driftwood are just glorious. With the help of her trusty bandsaw, sanding machine, hand tools and paints, figures emerge, each telling their own story, often with humour and irreverence!

Lynn sells and exhibits her work in the UK, America, Germany and Japan and in 1993 won the British Toymaker of the Year Award. In 1995 Lynn and her work were the subject of a television program called Mastercraft.
